The Westin Kuala Lumpur Ramadan Food Review - Santapan Juadah Kampung 2016

Now is the period of Ramadan where you can see sprawling eateries everywhere in Kuala Lumpur. When I was young I love to go Pasar Ramadan and savor delicious Malay cuisine. I guess now with so many options one may have you don’t really need to go to Pasar Ramadan to look for those anymore.
the main area of the food display

For the benefits doubt, Pasar Ramadan is indeed a food market which is being set up like small hawker stalls along a designated street during the fasting month of Ramadan. They normally sell Malay cuisine.

This year, Thanks to Kenny Lee (Sales manager at the Westin Kuala Lumpur) I managed to savor the best what Westin KL has prepared.

me and Kenny Lee

I really enjoyed the extensive spread of the food display, it's everything that traditional Malay cuisine should be and it's everything that someone could possibly ask for ..

Sekeping Serendah Retreat - Us against the Forest!

I have been wanting to visit Sekeping Serendah for quite a while actually, however due to my busy schedule the plans to visit this place became long forgotten. Until recently I came across someone who posted on their FB wall about how nice this place was.
overview of the glass house 2 - the one that i have chosen
It comes with an open terrace and BBQ pit
Two queen sized beds and there's an additional bed to sleep an extra 1 guest

From the pictures I seen via the website the place looks magnificent. It’s everything I need for a nice and relaxed holiday. It has a lot of greenness, a rustic man made pool, nearby waterfall, cooling jungle atmosphere, and also the property is set in a lush tropical forest. when i arrived things really look like what you seen in the pictures. the only difference here is the weather could be a bit of a challenge if your used to air conditioning. In here i honestly admit that its very humid and gets really hot during the afternoon.

Its approximately an hour journey from the heart of Kuala Lumpur by car with slight traffic conditions. Once we arrive we were greeted by two very helpful caretakers who assisted us with our luggage and all our cooking materials because I was preparing for a BBQ feast that night.

i love this waterfall, its located nearby. i suggest you drive instead of walking. its about 2 mins drive away

you can find spring water at some point of the way. really nice to wash and cool your body but i don't advise you to drink from it

the rustic man made pool with spring water from ground filling the pool

dinner menu for the night comprises of , black angus steak, sole fillet, grilled summer vegetables served with balck truffles and mushroom sauce.

Good Food , makes happy people , and happiness is the key to a good friendship

ps: there is no mobile phone signal here. so please dont be grumpy! hahaha. There's a blessing in disguise.
